What’s going on at LSUHS this month?
April is a short month as we return from our First Quarter Break! We are continuing our Rocketry STEM class, working on our greenhouses, and planning more adventures.

*Making Waves is our new signature youth leadership program meets monthly! Following the mission of LSUHS, Making Waves members will be active in many farm & conservation endeavors. Our kickoff meeting was in February! Learn more here! This is free.

April 1 -5: First Quarter Break.
April 9 & 16: STEM course: “It is Rocket Science” This high school class is for both our students and homeschool students.
April 15: Richmond Metro Zoo field trip.
April 17: On-farm visit from VSU Native Grasses experts to discuss silvopasture work.
April 19: VSU Blueberry Field Walk.
April 23: VSU Small Scale Aquaponics Workshop
April 23-25: 4th Virginia Urban Ag Summit
