A Visit from RTD

RTD Mark Gormus visits LOCAL STEW U to take photos and gets to know the guard donkey, Baby.

RTD Reporter Holly Prestidge and Photographer Mark Gormus visit LOCAL STEW U for information and photos for an upcoming article. Students work on a raised garden bed while Holly writes notes and Mark takes photos.

We were delighted to have Richmond Times Dispatch Reporter Holly Prestidge and Photographer Mark Gormus visit LOCAL STEW U to learn about the school. Mark came back on several occasions, taking photos, joking with the students and enjoying the time with the animals, especially Baby, our guard donkey.

Holly is a thorough reporter and asked a lot of great questions. We are looking forward to the article and seeing some of the many photos Mark took!

UPDATE: Holly’s article came out on May 19 at Richmond.com. Check it out!
